Girls Are Awesome was founded by two New Zealand childhood friends Nick Bridge and Danny Santaana. For their daughters and all young girls and women they want to contribute to more equality and female empowerment in the future. The women and men behind Girls Are Awesome believe that without diversity and inclusion a society cannot reach its full potential.
How to create a community of girl power
Girls Are Awesome is a unique concept. Cool events and a small fashion collection spread the message “Girls Are Awesome”but it’s mainly about sharing inspiring stories of strong women and coming together. The community is very divers with women role models like skaters, snowboarders, surfers, artists and musicians. On their blog, podcast and social media channels, Girls Are Awesome gives them a platform to tell their story and exchange with others. Your daily dose of women empowerment is guaranteed here!

Slay Days by Girls Are Awesome
The Slay Days by Girls Are Awesome were founded in 2018. The annual snowboard event brings together women inside the freestyle scene. The four days are packed with shred & yoga sessions, coaching, party and interaction with some of the most inspiring women in snowboarding.
