The sun over the mountain waves by Steve Wade
This beautiful illustration "The sun over the mountain waves" by British artist Steve Wade adorns the limited Blue Tomato skateboard deck this year.
The illustration shows a dominant red sun over a mountain, drawn in line art style.
The 7 layers of maple are not only a great canvas for Swade's drawings, but also for your art of skateboarding. The deck was manufactured to a high standard and produced in limited quantities.

"I have had a passion for art and design since my early childhood. Growing up, I struggled with verbal dyspraxia, so art was a way to express my feelings and thoughts.
Nature and space definitely inspire me the most in my work. I love the different shapes, textures, creatures, sounds and colours in it. Mountains and forests are particularly inspiring, as I always feel more at home in nature, far away from cities."
