Created with input from the experts at Baldface Lodge, the Tailgunner is the ideal snowboard for powder enthusiasts. Featuring premium materials and an internal dampening system, this board offers a lightweight build and excellent torsional responsiveness. Its wider design allows for sizing down if desired, resulting in a shorter length. With versatile setback stance options, the board effortlessly navigates through trees, performs well on slopes, and excels in powder conditions. Riding Style
If you live for powder and steep slopes and need a responsive powder board, the Tailgunner is exactly what you're looking for.
Shape
The directional shape, with a longer nose, ensures floatation in powder, provides stability and control at high speeds, and delivers plenty of pop. The tapered tail is narrower than the nose, offering smooth turn initiation, speed stability, and more float in deep snow. The larger volume in the front allows effortless turns in soft and deep snow, greatly increasing the board's float.
Profile
The traditional camber profile features a single positive camber from nose to tail, offering high stability, excellent edge control, and plenty of pop. A slight rocker in the nose lifts the board out of the deep snow, providing even more float.
Flex
The medium flex is perfectly suited to this board's design: stiff enough for powerful turns yet soft enough for a playful ride.
Construction
The lightweight core, made of Paulownia and Balsa, has an internal dampening system and power glass for pop and responsiveness. Durable ABS and TPU sidewalls ensure longevity, and the sintered ISO 7500 base performs in all terrains.
