YOW Pipe 32" Power Surfing Series Surfskate

A tribute to the famous Pipeline in Hawaii

Hawaii's Pipeline is the mecca of surfing. An incredibly strong wave that breaks on a very shallow and sharp reef, creating one of the most perfect barrels. Many of the top surfers use the Pipe as one component of their training for the best waves in the world. The design of the YOW Pipe 32" Surfskate is inspired by the classic Lightning Bolt surfboard by Gerry Lopez.

Power Surfing Series
The boards of the Power Surfing series have a longer wheelbase and a medium concave, which directly affects how the surfskate feels during turns. A perfect combination if you want to focus on practicing wide and fast turns, pumps, or just a more fluid line.

Riding style
The movement on the YOW board is so similar to that on a surfboard that it acts as a surf trainer, as you directly learn the posture and weight shift required for surfing. 

The YOW System
The YOW Meraki S5 surf skate system is the latest generation and is significantly lighter than its forerunner. The vast rotation of the front truck allows for tight turns, but due to the 5 mm spring, it is a little less responsive than the S4 system. It was designed for riders above 50 kg body weight and for all those who are looking for a more stable ride.

Setup
The components are perfectly adjusted to the board. The soft wheels provide the best grip and speed, even on rough surfaces. The deck comes in a proven maple wood construction.
