    Product description

As sweet as the frosting on your favourite cake

The Gnu Frosting is a directional C2 camber hybrid snowboard designed for all girls who want to experience the whole mountain.
It offers enough power to perform in any terrain and the Magne-Traction® technology ensures stable edge control. The slightly softer flex is ideal for trips into the powder and allows you to manoeuvre the snowboard with ease.
The design is as sweet as its features. Sublimated graphics by Corinne Weidman, with water-based inks on the eco-topsheet and sintered base, complete this sweet treat.

    Riding style
A versatile and forgiving all-mountain snowboard for intermediate and advanced riders. You want to have fun all over the mountain? This board does it all, from park to piste and powder. The construction supports you in any terrain.

    Shape
The directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is slightly longer than the tail for controlled turns in any terrain. The offset of the bindings in the direction of the tail makes the nose a little longer for even more uplift in powder. The Magne-Traction® technology provides improved edge hold with serrated edges. Especially on icy slopes they unfold their full potential.

    Profile
The C2 profile is a classic camber profile with a subtle rocker between the bindings. This provides precise edge control from nose to tail and maximum stability for high airs and landings. The rocker makes the board a bit more playful and offers more uplift than conventional camber profiles.

    Flex
The medium flex ensures precise control and fast responsiveness of the board, but remains playful enough to bust out freestyle moves.

    Construction
The G Lite 2 construction is environmentally friendly, robust and a lightweight construction design from Gnu. The core of aspen and paulownia wood is very light, sustainable, robust and poppy. Bi- and triaxial fibreglass surrounds the woodcore and provides the necessary stiffness and durability. The topsheet is made from eco-sublimated organic beans. The sintered base is very fast and stays that way if you take care of it.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

    About Gnu

Gnu have been around since the birth of snowboarding, claiming weird, open minded experimentation to be their job. They have worked with mysterious materials, bizarre geometries, contours and board shapes, far out art and colors, odd terrain and freakish riders to create fantastic progressive snowboards that have helped take snowboarding to wild and magical places. A brand we are happy to call one of the family.
