Product description
Professional, competition-ready freeride performance
The Pro version of the legendary Flagship. The Flagship Pro is a very stiff, competition-ready freeride board designed for experienced freeriders who want to conquer steep terrain at top speed. The Fusion Carbon technology, with synthetic Koroyd core material, makes the board lighter and better. Furthermore, additional cushioning, Power Plates, were installed on the edges. They provide less vibration and more pop.
Riding style
Freeride World Tour and co. are your goals. You know your snowboard and you know what you want. With this board, there are no limits.
Shape
With the Tapered Directional shape the nose is slightly wider than the tail. The bindings are slightly offset to the back (setback). This increases the stability at higher speeds and the uplift in powder. Traction Tech 3.0, the corrugated edge, ensures the best edge hold in all conditions.
Profile
The directional rocker profile consists of a camber between the bindings, a large rocker area in the nose and a slightly smaller rocker in the tail. This keeps the board extremely manoeuvrable in pow and gives it enormous uplift. The camber offers you good edge hold and fast power transmission. Just like the shape of a spoon, the 3D Contour Base 3.0 lifts the contact points off the snow to prevent catching edge and increase float in soft snow. The 3.0 version has a 7 mm bend in the nose and a 0 to 7 mm bend in the tail. The spoon-shaped bevel starts at the rocker point.
Flex
Hard, harder, Flagship Pro. Absolute smoothness and stability at high speeds, for a precise ride and a lot of pop.
Construction
Fusion Carbon technology, used exclusively on very special Jones Premium boards, involves fusing multiple layers of carbon fibres to the core using epoxy. This technology makes the board extremely light and durable. Power Plates on the edges provide less vibration and more pop. The triple-density Power Core comes with hardwood bamboo stringers for added pop and durability, and paulownia for weight savings. The synthetic core material Koroyd is the lightest and most cushioning core material ever tested by Jones. It absorbs vibrations and provides more response at a fraction of the weight of wood. The basalt stringers help to transfer power to the edges, improve the torsional behaviour and additionally dampen the board. The Carbon/Innegra fibres form an ultra-strong hybrid composite layer that dampens the board in torsion and from tip to tail. The thin ash veneer layer acts both as a protective top layer and as an additional reinforcing layer.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
