Product description
The ultimate freeride board from Nidecker
The Nidecker Ultralight is almost unbeatable in the line of the traditional Swiss company. This freeride board offers you maximum precision, ultra-light materials and a carbon top layer. With the Ultralight, you can explore the backcountry and all its lines in a completely new way. Light, agile, responsive and aggressive.
Riding style
With the Ultralight you are breaking new ground in freeriding. Its low weight and high-performance features merge into a weapon for powder and open terrain.
Shape
The directional shape offers you a longer nose than tail and thus a lot of stability at higher speeds and buoyancy in powder. Thanks to the taper at the tail, it sinks deeper into the snow and raises the nose even higher.
Profile
The rocker zones on the nose and tail give this board a playful and forgiving ride, while the camber between the bindings provides edge control and agility.
Flex
The hard flex is ideal for the freeride design of this board. Stable, agile and full control.
Construction
The Light Core is made of poplar, birch and paulownia. The optimum mix of pop and vibration damping with very low weight. Tri-Ax Plus fibreglass and exclusive technologies such as 3DNCONCEPT and FREEFLEX 3.0 take this board to a new level. With the 3DNCONCEPT, the board behaves differently under the front and rear inserts to guarantee the very best freeride performance. FREEFLEX 3.0 reduces the amount of wood and fibreglass in the nose and tail and replaces it with lighter alternatives. The result is a much lighter and even more responsive snowboard. The sintered N-9000 base is ultra-fast and stays that way if you take good care of it.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
