Product description
High-speed carving and powder surfing - with the Nitro Slash
Influenced by all the new shapes in the surfboard sector, Nitro decided to create a new surf-inspired board with a 3D moulded shape and reinforced edges for more support and durability. The Slash's 3D-moulded Surf Tech with a Reflex Core Profile creates a surf-like ride as you glide down untracked slopes. The Trüe Camber and the Tapered Directional Shape offer stability for difficult situations.
10 years of Nitro Quiver
The Nitro Quiver series, which includes the Slash, has been around for 10 years. Nitro is now focusing even more on a more sustainable approach and is increasingly using more environmentally friendly materials such as Green Speed Natural Wax, Eco Poxy 33, Eco Speed Bases and the Eco Guard Topsheet.
Riding style
A freeride/all-mountain carving board for advanced riders, this board offers performance and stability for deep turns on and off piste. Added to this is good buoyancy in powder.
Shape
The tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is slightly wider than the tail for controlled turns in any terrain. The offset of the bindings in the direction of the tail (setback) makes the nose a little longer for even more uplift in powder.
Profile
The traditional Trüe Camber profile consists of only one positive camber from nose to tail. This profile offers high stability, good edge control and plenty of pop. However, camber boards tend to catch edge more easily than other profiles.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.
Construction
The Powercore II is a poplar wood core with beech wood stringers, for unmatched stability, smooth response and incredible pop. The Reflex Core profile is a thinner board profile between the bindings which improves torsional flex and allows you to turn the board more easily. With the Sintered EcoSpeed Formula HD Base, it has been possible to reduce wear, increase wax absorption and achieve greater speed on snow, all with a higher proportion of post-industrial Ptex.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
