Product description
A versatile freestyle board for any terrain
The Kin is a twin shape board with which there are no limits to your creativity. Stable yet forgiving, crisp and loose. A great choice for playful, creative snowboarding in all conditions and anywhere on the mountain.
Season Eqpt. was penned by pro snowboarder Austin Smith and ski legend Eric Pollard. Each model is unisex and designed to last for years and decades.
Riding style
All-mountain/freestyle for advanced riders. You want to have fun all over the mountain? This board does it all, from kickers and rails in the park, to deep powder in the backcountry.
Shape
A twin shape with taper. Nose and tail have the same length and the bindings are mounted centrally (no setback). The snowboard rides equally in both directions, whether switch or forward. Taper means a narrower tail than nose, this provides more floatation in deep snow.
Profile
The board comes with a classic camber between the bindings with an even rocker in the nose and tail. Precision and pop for park and slope and good uplift in powder. An extremely versatile profile for any terrain.
Flex
The soft flex makes the board very flexible, perfect for butter tricks and tweaks. Additionally, softer boards offer a fun ride and a comfortable ride through any terrain.
Construction
The paulownia and poplar wood core is very light and offers a lot of pop. The 360° Double Damping Sidewall offers double the vibration dampening of standard sidewalls for a more stable ride. The sintered base is an industry standard for high-quality bases. It offers a good balance between the speed achieved by a hard base and good wax adhesion.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
