Product description
Legendary powder performance with 4-Lock™ System
The Hoji by Eric ‘Hoji’ Hjorleifson, remains perfection for deep pow and has now opened up to a wider range of skiers with an even more comprehensive size range. Its innovative multi-radius rocker profile provides exceptional float in deep snow and stability on firm snow. The aspen/maple core generates more energy than anything you've ridden before, at a weight that's just as comfortable on the ascend as it is on your way down.
Riding Style
A freeride / touring ski for advanced level riders. Shape and profile have been specially designed to deliver the best performance in powder. The lightweight construction makes it an excellent touring ski.
Shape
The directional shape has a slightly wider nose than tail. The binding and sidecut are set back slightly. This increases stability at higher speeds and flotation in soft snow.
Profile
The Multi-Radius Rocker profile comes with a classic camber under the binding, a large rocker area in the tip and a smaller rocker in the tail. The rockered nose improves manoeuvrability and floatation, while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response for firm snow.
Construction
The aspen and maple core is loaded with unmatched energy. This pure hardwood core guarantees a smooth, damp ride, long-lasting durability and incredible binding retention. Neotip is a Neoprene insert in the tip of the ski that drastically reduces chatter, increases overall damping, and helps eliminate frustrating tip delamination. The 4-Lock™ System is a fully integrated ski and skin system unlike anything else on the market. A self locking skin strap passes through an inconspicuous 12 x 9mm hole in the tail of the ski, locking the skin to the ski and eliminating frustrating gear failure. This also reduces the length of the skin, meaning that each skin folds up incredibly compactly and weighs less than 240g.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
