    Product description

Years of experience in a unisex freestyle snowboard

The Salomon Abstract comes with graphics by artist Estee' Preda from Quebec City. It is a unisex snowboard and focuses on freestyle in its purest form.
Salomon's most popular Rock Out Camber profile, a poppy Popster Core with Ghost Carbon Beams and the Quadralizer Sidecut make this board a precise freestyle machine that offers endless fun.

    Riding style
You spend your days in the park on the kickers and rails and head out for the next evening street spot as soon as the lights go out? Then this is the right board for you!

    Shape
The True Twin, especially for freestyle action: identical length and shape of tip and tail, symmetrical core profile, flex and a centred stance position. This offers you the same skiing characteristics both forward and switch.
The Quadralizer Sidecut is an explosive combination of Equalizer and Quadratic Sidecut, which allows carving at high speed and provides excellent edge hold in tight corners.

    Profile
The Rock Out Camber is flat between the bindings and provides stability, while the camber towards the tip and tail offers reactivity. A rocker directly at the tip and tail delivers 1a presses and float if you find yourself in powder.

    Flex
A medium flex is just right if you like fast runs and stable landings. And what's more, you can still easily butter and press.

    Construction
The sintered EG Base is designed for super-fast gliding in all conditions, from fresh powder snow to soft slush. Sintered materials have excellent wax adhesion, gallium improves impact resistance and the Stone finish provides a turbo glide. Salomon increases the natural snap and pop of wood with the Popster core profile. It feels like your skateboard kicktail is finally connected to your snowboard. Additional carbon strips in the Popster profile transfer the power under your feet directly to the nose and tail, thus increasing the pop. The Ghost Carbon Beams provide additional stability at high speeds. For the Aspen SLCT core, each strip of FSC-certified wood is selected by hand to ensure the highest quality and lightness for the core.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
