Product description
Best performance for all terrain and conditions
The Nexus is the ideal ski for every day and all conditions. The medium flex combined with a stable 6 mm camber under the binding results in a perfectly balanced performance for days when you can't guess what to expect. Whether carving on the piste or long pow turns, the Nexus can do (almost) everything.
Season Eqpt. was penned by pro snowboarder Austin Smith and ski legend Eric Pollard. Each model is unisex and designed to last for years and decades.
Riding style
An all-mountain/ powder ski for intermediate and advanced riders. Shape, design, profile and construction have been specially tuned to deliver the best performance in powder. At the same time it offers top performance for hard slopes and versatility for any terrain anywhere on the mountain.
Shape
With the Directional Shape the nose is slightly wider than the tail. The bindings and the sidecut are slightly set back towards the tail. This increases the stability at higher speeds and the uplift in powder.
Profile
This ski comes with a camber under the binding, a big rocker area in the nose and a slightly smaller rocker in the tail. This keeps the ski extremely manoeuvrable and gives it an enormous uplift. The camber offers you good edge hold and fast power transmission. The Rocker in the nose and tail also creates an additional, loose, tilt-free riding experience.
Construction
The lightweight Karuba wood core combines the best of stability and performance. The 360wrap ABS Sidewall offers double the vibration dampening of standard sidewalls for a more stable ride. The sintered base is an industry standard for high-quality bases. It offers a good balance between the speed achieved by a hard base and good wax adhesion.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
