Product description
The perfect entry point into the world of freeskiing
The Prodigy 0 is the perfect ski for you if you want to dive into the world of freeskiing and learn your first tricks. The 85 mm waist, combined with a 3 mm camber, offers plenty of pop and provides high-performance edge hold while maintaining a playful feel. The lightweight core made of silver fir and beech, the anti-chip micro-cap construction, and the XL 2.5 mm edges make the ski exceptionally robust.
Riding Style
A freestyle / park ski for beginners. This ski comes with all the features you need as an aspiring park rider. However, the directional shape makes it super versatile and perfect for freestyle riding all over the mountain.
Shape
This ski features a directional twin shape. The nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Therefore, the ski offers you the same riding characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose, you get more float in soft snow.
Profile
This Ski comes with a classic camber under the binding and an even rocker in nose and tail. Precision and pop for park and piste, good float in soft snow. The rocker in the nose and tail also creates a catch-free, loose ride.
Flex
The medium flex makes the ski stiff enough for powerful turns and soft enough for a playful ride.
Construction
The core is made of silver fir and beech wood. Silver fir, has the same properties as poplar. Its a durable softwood that flexes nicely and has great vibration absorption capabilities. Beech adds extra torsional stability to grip impressively on the downhill. Extra thick XL 2.5mm edges increase durability, especially on rails, boxes and ledges. The micro-cap construction is a hybrid of a high-quality sandwich construction and a robust cap construction. This protects sensitive areas of the ski that may be prone to chipping.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
