Product description
The powerful all-mountain carver
The Freecarver 9000s is a board with which you can carve the deepest and fastest turns of your life. Its shape combines design elements from race, boardercross and freeride boards and has a super long effective edge and a full camber profile for maximum carving power. The Freecarver 9000s has a 9 metre sidecut radius, ideal for ripping huge turns at high speed.
Riding style
It's all about speed, flow and deep carves. This snowboard offers absolute edge hold, great stability and loves high speeds.
Shape
With the Directional Shape the nose is slightly longer than the tail. The bindings and the sidecut are slightly offset to the back. This increases the stability at higher speeds and the uplift in soft snow. The swallowtail extends the effective edge at short board length, for fast, lively turns in the powder. Traction Tech 3.0, the corrugated edge, ensures the best edge hold in all conditions.
Profile
The traditional camber profile consists of one positive camber from nose to tail. This profile offers high stability, good edge control and plenty of pop. However, camber boards tend to catch edge more easily than other profiles. Just like the shape of a spoon, the 3D Contour Base 1.0 lifts the contact points off the snow to prevent catching edge and increase float in soft snow. The 1.0 version has a balance of 2 mm bevelling in the nose and 2 mm in the tail. The spoon-shaped bevel starts at the rocker point.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.
Construction
The triple-density Power Core comes with hardwood bamboo stringers for added pop and durability, and paulownia for weight savings. The basalt stringers help to transfer power to the edges, improve the torsional behaviour and additionally dampen the board. The thin ash veneer layer acts both as a protective top layer and as an additional reinforcing layer.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
