    Product description

    The All-Terrain, Shred-Everything Splitboard

The Jones Frontier Split is the ultimate splitboard for riders looking for a playful splitboard with a directional freeride shape and a slightly softer flex. The freeride nose offers plenty of float for powder days and the freestyle tail is perfect for attacking pillows and standing cliff drops.

    Riding style
A splitboard with soft to medium flex and a playful ride. Ideal for riders who want to live out their creativity in any terrain after the ascent.

    Shape
With the directional shape the nose is slightly longer than the tail. The bindings and the sidecut are slightly offset to the back. This increases the stability at higher speeds and the uplift in soft snow. Traction Tech 3.0, the corrugated edge, ensures the best edge hold in all conditions.

    Profile
The directional rocker profile consists of a camber between the bindings, a large rocker area in the nose and a slightly smaller rocker in the tail. This keeps the board extremely manoeuvrable in pow and gives it enormous uplift. The camber offers you good edge hold and fast power transmission. Just like the shape of a spoon, the 3D Contour Base 1.0 lifts the contact points off the snow to prevent catching edge and increase float in soft snow. The 1.0 version has a balance of 2 mm bevelling in the nose and 2 mm in the tail. The spoon-shaped bevel starts at the rocker point.

    Flex
The soft-medium flex allows for easy turns and provides a comfortable, playful ride on any terrain.

    Construction
The Control Split Core is a continuous premium woodcore that has been specially developed for splitboards. A 2:1 ratio of paulownia to poplar wood dampens vibrations and keeps the core light. The ECO-Plastic Topsheet is made from castor seeds. The sintered 8000 base is fast, easy to repair and absorbs wax excellently.
