Spark R&D's Pro Series bindings are the lightest and most powerful splitboard bindings in the world, built specifically for splitboarders who want only the best of the best. The Arc ST Pro binding offers the same surfy feel as the standard Arc ST binding but is equipped with even higher quality materials. Carbon reinforced nylon highbacks, Pebax® plastic straps, 7075 aluminium heel straps and hollow pivot pins.
Tesla T1 Splitboard Technology
The T1 binding system is one of the most well-known, user-friendly, reliable and efficient splitboard systems on the market. The binding is inserted into the touring brackets from the side and then locked with the snap ramps. No tools, no pins, no cables and no fiddling around.
Highback
The carbon reinforced nylon highback is more responsive, lighter and stiffer than Spark R&D's standard glass reinforced highback. The highback can be adjusted from touring mode (-13°) to riding mode in seconds with a small lever. The side cut-outs are compatible with Sparks Strappy Strap, which gives you even more support on the ascent.
Baseplate
A CNC machined baseplate comes with a 7075 aluminium heel strap. This heel loop is thinner and lighter than the standard heel loop, while maintaining the required strength. In addition, the recesses allow you to make small adjustments to the binding angle without removing the binding. The ST Whammy Bar ascender is built into the baseplate, saving you extra weight.
Straps
The Pillow Line Straps of the Pro Series are made of Pebax® plastic. Pebax® is a high-quality material often used in high-end ski boots as it offers consistent stiffness and improved resistance in cold temperatures. It is also 20 % lighter than the standard material.
