Product description
The secret weapon for big mountain lines
Big mountain lines and deep powder are on the programme for the new Burton Family Tree High Fidelity. Freestyle-inspired riding in steep terrain, stability on icy faces and power carving in difficult terrain - get ready for a freeride board that is second to none.
Riding style
The Burton Family Tree High Fidelity is a freeride board for expert-level riders. With its big mountain character, you can enjoy stability, float and power in difficult terrain.
Shape
Freeride Directional Shape - Twin or Directional is the eternal question for creative rippers. This shape ends that debate with a setback camber and a waist that aligns with your stance to create a twin freestyle feel when riding a flat base. On the edge it turns sharp and agile, with the float and skill expected of a directional deck. The taper of 7 mm is a wider nose (than the tail). This design offers a smooth turn initiation and exit and more float in deep snow.
Profile
Directional Camber has camber under both feet for stability on deep turns and variable conditions, plus a rockered nose that offers more float.
Flex
The directional flex of the board offers you more pop in the tail and a more robust nose, giving you the control and stability you need for the backcountry.
Construction
The FSC™ certified Super Fly II™ 700 g core with lighter wood on special zones of the core offers pop, stability as well as a reduced weight. Dualzone™ EGD™ ensures constant edge grip and resistance. The Squeezebox improves pop and performance through a balance of thick, powerful core areas and thin, flexible areas. The 45° Carbon Highlights optimise each layer of the fibreglass matrix and add a continuous carbon layer to reduce weight and fine-tune the torsional feel to achieve different ride characteristics. The recycled, sintered WFO base is treated with a specially formulated wax that penetrates deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material, providing an ultra-rugged base, all season and in all conditions.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
