    Product description

    Premium freeride-twin

The 112 mm Studio 3, is a freestyle-orientated ski for all-mountain and backcountry riders. A sustainable poplar wood core combined with large rocker and minimal camber result in a ski that is easy to turn with great edge hold and stability. Backed by the finest, environmentally friendly construction made with 100% renewable energy.

    Riding Style
Backcountry freestyle for advanced riders - Consider the backcountry a snow park with unlimited possibilities? Then this is the ski for you!

    Shape
This ski features a directional twin shape. The nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Therefore, the ski offers you the same riding characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose, you get more float in soft snow.

    Profile
This Ski comes with a classic camber under the binding and an even rocker in nose and tail. Precision and pop on firm snow, good float in soft snow. The rocker in the nose and tail also creates a catch-free, loose ride.

    Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and responsiveness at high speeds.

    Construction
The poplar wood core offers good pop and flex as well as excellent vibration damping. It also has plenty of torsional flex for impressive grip on the downhill. Extra thick XL 2.5mm edges increase durability, especially on rails, boxes and ledges. The carbon/rubber stomp pad is a reinforcement made of carbon and rubber underfoot, above the edge. It protects the wood core from heavy impacts and absorbs vibrations.

    • Factory is powered by 100% renewable energy

    More information

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

    About Faction

Faction started out as a fun project for a group of shred happy ski bums in Verbier one winter. The group wanted to create skis that were affordable, could last 100+ days, survive without servicing and could be stowed away over summer and shine just as brightly once winter rolled around. Doing just that, they have seen great success over the last 12 years. They are united in their love for the mountains and the tools that allow them, us and you to escape there.
