Product description
Feel the energy and get creative
From wide, open faces and backcountry kickers to steep descents in deep snow and variable weather conditions. The Sender Free 118 with Twin Rocker offers a playful, surfy feel in a variety of snow conditions and variable terrain. The Air Tip technology reduces swing weight for improved manoeuvrability, the VAS reduces vibrations for more comfort and safety.
Riding Style
A freeride / powder ski for intermediate to advanced level riders. Shape, design, profile and construction have been specially designed to deliver the best performance in powder. Maximum flotation and manoeuvrability for deepest snow.
Shape
This ski features a directional twin shape. The nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Therefore, the ski offers you the same riding characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose, you get more float in soft snow.
Profile
This ski features classic camber under the binding and a rocker in the tip and tail. This allows the ski to remain highly manoeuvrable in powder and offers good flotation. The camber provides edge hold, pop and quick power transfer.
Construction
The PEFC poplar wood core provides a good balance between dampening, elasticity and weight saving. The rectangular sidewall has a horizontal core material layer in combination with continuous vertical sidewalls for optimised edge grip, precision, balance and performance. The Diagofiber was developed for racing. It reduces weight and improves responsiveness. The Vibration Absorber System (VAS) dampens chatter for smooth snow contact, delivering confidence and control in all variable snow conditions. Air Tip reduces swing weight at the ski’s extremity, making it more maneuverable and playful, while maintaining a strong platform under foot.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
