Ever since their inception Nitro have continually managed to make an impression on the snowboard scene without having to make any compromises. Let us give you a quick round up of the story of one of the most famous and most authentic brands in the snowboard world so far:

30 years strong

It was in Seattle in 1989 that Sepp Ardelt and Tommy Delago made it their goal to develop snowboard products made by riders for riders and even from the very beginning the results were unique and innovative. Amongst the many innovations to come out of their workshop were the first asymmetrical twin tip snowboards , the first 3-piece freestyle bindings and the first snowboards with progressive sidecuts . With Nitro, it was clear to see early on that they were something out of the ordinary, something different to the mainstream. Aesthetics also played a big role in their success, something for which Nitro designer Paul Brown is responsible. He's the man who shaped Nitro's famous style. This aesthetic line is evident in everything they do and make, from snowboards , boots and bindings to outerwear.

The Story Continues…

Nitro's story continues on in much the same fashion until the present day where there are 2 new camber concepts and 6 new snowboard models for you to discover. There are now 6 camber variations to choose from, so you're bound to find something for you:

Nitro's binding range now features 3° base canting on 4 of their models, to give you an anatomically correct, natural stance. They even feature air dampening technology to protect your knees from harder landings. Aesthetically, too, Nitro Bindings will gain you a lot of attention this season.
