Also, Picture Items Oeko-Tex 100 are certified. Despite the company still being in its early stages, they have already carved their name into snow jackets and streetwear scene, winning some awards for snowboarding along the way.

Eco-Wetsuits, Picture that.
Good news, there is something extra special for all of you surfers out there too.2017 Picture Organic Clothing has launched the first Eco-Wetsuit : the NaturalPrene . It is 100% ecological and an environmentally friendly alternative to a traditional wetsuit. The suits consist of 85% Malaysian natural rubber from Malaysia and 15% of synthetic resin. Comfortable to wear and give freedom to move which are important factors when watching waves. Microparticles have been integrated into the material through a revolutionary process. This ensures that the suit can stretch to four times its original size. The seams are carefully processed with an adhesive on a water-soluble basis.Due to the natural material, the neoprene suit is ideally suited for allergy sufferers, because of the materials used in other cases, skin problems and irritation frequently occurred.
Cutting down waste
Everything finds its use! In addition to the recycled polyester and the reused fabric residues, Picture also strives to keep the waste at as low a level as possible in other areas as well. In 2014 several bags could not be sold due to a minor defect. The inside seam in the lining was not tight enough, which is why they could not be sold. Where to go with the almost 200 unsuitable backpacks? The solution to the problem was a collaboration with a beneficial organisation. A new school was opened in Nepal for all children who had to take a ten-kilometer walk to school. At the opening of the school, each schoolchild was given a Picture backpack.
