Product description
The Big Mountain Power Board by Marie-France Roy
With the Veda, you follow in the footsteps of Marie-France Roy. Marie-France not only rips the really big lines, she is also extremely committed to the environment and sustainability. And that's exactly what you get with her signature board. The Veda is aimed at the experienced freerider who expects the best performance in demanding big mountain terrain.
Riding style
With the Veda, there are no limits to your freeride adventure. From comfy pillow lines to steep faces, the Veda gives you the support you need.
Shape
The tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is longer and wider than the tail for controlled turns in any terrain. The additional setback of the bindings gives the board a lot of uplift in powder. Arbor's Grip Tech provides good edge control on hard snow and ice by slightly extending the edges outwards underfoot.
Profile
The camber profile consists of only a single positive camber from nose to tail. This classic profile offers high stability, good edge control and a lot of pop. The Uprise Fenders System lifts the outer contact points off the snow. This means that the edges at the contact points of nose and tail are tilted upwards by 1.5°. This creates a playful driving feeling without tilting.
Flex
The medium to stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.
Construction
The Highland II core is made from the lightest and highest quality Paulownia wood. The result is a lighter, more responsive version of the standard Highland core. The topsheet is made from sustainable wood and processed into a so-called Ash Power Ply construction. The natural wood fibre creates the design for which Arbor is known. The 360 sidewalls enclose the board completely. This technology includes incredibly small tolerances and thus significantly increases the stability of the board. The sintered base is very fast, but requires careful maintenance.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
