Product description
The Westmark fulfils all the needs of a passionate freestyle rider
The Arbor Westmark Rocker by Frank April is a freestyle-specific twin board with a blunt nose and tail shape, providing more surface area for take-offs, landings, butters, and presses. Additionally, uplifted flip-tips on the nose and tail ensure optimal performance for ollies and nollies. A medium flex and the rocker profile allow easier presses without losing the stability and pop needed for bigger gaps in the park and across the mountain.
Riding Style
This is an all-mountain/park board for any rider. It comes with all the features an ambitious park rider needs. The rocker profile makes the board playful and forgiving, ideal for learning new tricks and moves, whether in the park or across the resort.
Shape
The true twin shape is perfectly symmetrical, offering the same forward and switch-riding characteristics. Arbor's Grip Tech provides good edge control on hard snow and ice by slightly extending the edges outward underfoot.
Profile
Arbor's in-house rocker profile features a pronounced rocker between the bindings, with flat sections at the nose and tail. This forgiving profile ensures that the outer contact points are close enough to the snow to engage when performance is needed.
Flex
The medium flex makes the board stiff enough for powerful turns while still soft enough for a playful ride.
Construction
The Highland core is Arbor's most versatile wood core, made from 100 % sustainably sourced poplar and paulownia wood. This core is lightweight, offers top performance, and provides quick response. The topsheet from sustainable wood is processed into an Ash Power Ply construction. The natural wood fiber creates the design Arbor is known for. The 360 sidewalls completely enclose the board. This technology features incredibly small tolerances, significantly increasing the board's stability. The bio-plastic topsheet is made from castor seed oil and is extremely durable. The sintered base is very fast and remains so with proper care.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
