Product description
Armada's ultimate big-mountain powder ski
As one of the co-founders of Armada, Tanner Hall continues to push the level in urban and freeride skiing. The Armada Magic J is his choice for deep snow conditions. With a tip and tail Rocker and a stiffer flex pattern, the Magic J remains predictable and reliable in tight terrain and stable enough for big mountain terrain. The Magic J with 127 mm centre width guides you safely through treelines, pillow lines, over steep slopes and the deepest powder snow.
Riding style
A freeride/powder ski for advanced riders. Shape, design, profile and construction have been specially tuned to deliver the best performance in powder. Maximum lift and manoeuvrability for deepest snow.
Shape
This ski comes with a Directional Twin shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Thus the ski offers you the same skiing characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose you get a little more uplift in fresh snow.
Profile
This ski comes with a classic Camber under the binding and a Rocker in the nose and tail areas. This keeps the ski extremely manoeuvrable in powder and gives it an enormous uplift. The Camber offers you good edge grip, pop and fast power transmission.
Flex
The stiff flex provides precise control at high speeds with high responsiveness.

Construction
The AR50 sidewall construction comes with a cap construction in tip and tail and with a sidewall under the binding. The cap construction in tip and tail reduces the swing weight, while the sidewall makes the ski more robust. The core is made of light poplar wood combined with stiffer ash wood stringers in a horizontal laminate. This creates an incredibly lively ski to push your riding to a new level. The S7 base is robust and low maintenance and comes with a speed additive for more speed. The Comp Series base is very robust and Armada's fastest base.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
