    Product description

Amplify your all-mountain abilities with the new Amplifier by Burton.

Catch-free stability and cranked-up performance that lets anyone amplify their all-mountain abilities. The new Amplifier by Burton is a perfectly symmetrical all-mountain board with Flat Top™ profile, made to help every rider progressing in their freestyle skills. With the Scoop technology, the exaggerated tip and tail scooping of this board turns up the edges for a looser, more forgiving feel and catch-free fun when riding everything, from a knee-high box to neck-deep pow.

    Shape
The perfectly symmetrical Twin shape offers a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability no matter which way you point it. Long before the hype about waved edges, Burton introduced Frostbite Edges. They extend slightly beneath your bindings for an extreme good edge-hold on hard-pack. Full of power when you need it and playful when you don't. Frostbite Edges are hungry for hard-pack while remaining smooth, flowing, and forgiving. Pro-Tip™ is a tapered tip and tail thickness, which reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

    Profile
Rising rider or seasoned pro, keep your game high and tight with the Flat Top™ bend. A flat profile between the feet means stability, better balance and continuous edge control. The tip and tail kick up with an early rise outside the feet for the catch-free, loose feeling you'd expect from rocker.

    Flex
The Twin Flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for versatility whether riding naturally or switch.

    Construction
The FSC™ CERTIFIED SUPER FLY II™ 800G CORE is a lightened up, loaded with pop dual-species wood core. It utilises dual-density vertical laminations of alternating softwood/hardwood to reduce overall weight with no sacrifice in strength or performance. Additionally, with the DUALZONE™ EGD™ design, the wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength. Burton's patented Squeezebox Low brings high-end core profiling technology to the progressing rider, with an overall easier feel. Stiffer zones just outside your feet create a more direct energy transfer to the tip and tail while enabling a softer, smoother flex between the bindings. The end result is more control with less effort from the rider. The Biax™ fibreglass features a jib-friendly, torsionally soft flex and forgiving, park-friendly feel.
The Extruded Base delivers speed, strength and graphical pop requiring little maintenance. Pass your friends without even waxing!
The Burton-exclusive INFINITE RIDE™ technology allows Burton to maximise pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
Stronger, faster, easier, and more adjustable - The Channel™ gives you ultimate control of your stance and your board in a design compatible with all major bindings (not just Burton’s). In fact, Burton trusts it so much that all boards with The Channel are backed by a 3-year warranty.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
