Product description
The versatile all-terrain snowboard with Flying V profile
There's not much more to say about the Burton Custom - this board speaks for itself. This cult snowboard has been in Burton's line-up since 1996 and is still one of the best snowboards in the world. No matter what the terrain, snowboarding is just a little more fun with this Flying V profile weapon.
Riding style
Powder, park, piste - the Custom Flying V is a real all-terrain weapon for intermediate and advanced riders.
Shape
The directional shape is the classic, most versatile snowboard shape. Optimal to ride with a slightly longer nose than tail. The pop is concentrated in the tail and provides ample float and control in all terrain and snow conditions.
Profile
Flying V offers the perfect mix of camber and rocker performance. With rocker zones between and outside the foot area, this profile provides more playfulness. Float and camber zones underfoot give you edge control for extra pop and powerful turns.
Flex
The Twin Flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for versatility whether riding naturally or switch.
Construction
The Super Fly II 700 g core with lighter wood on special zones of the core offers pop, stability as well as a reduced weight. In Dualzone EGD, the wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edge on two continuous zones that run perpendicular to the rest of the core for consistent edge grip and durability. The 45° Carbon Highlights optimise each layer of the fibreglass matrix, adding a continuous carbon layer to reduce weight and fine-tune torsional feel to achieve different ride characteristics. Working a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of the extremely absorbent, dense material of the sintered WFO base creates an extremely durable base that stays open in every weather condition the whole season long.
The Channel® gives you ultimate control over your stance in a design that is compatible with all popular bindings (not just Burton). With Infinite Ride technology, maximum pop and strength is generated by 'over-constructing' the board and then mechanically 'breaking it in'. With Infinite Ride, the board retains its flex, pop and board feel from day one to the last, one season at a time. Long before the hype of ridged edges came Burton's Frostbite edges, which sits just below your binding and scores with incredible edge hold in hard, icy conditions.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
