Product description
All-terrain Gnu power for backcountry at the highest level
Nicolas Müller can’t promise you anything, but if you strap in on the Müllair it will sure help you ride more like him, and isn’t that what we all want? Methods to the moon, nose butters for kilometres and blown up powder muffins, that’s what you get with this stick. The Gnu crew and Nicolas worked together to create this dream snowboard for soulful powder surfing and boosting out of transitions.
Riding Style
We won’t claim you will achieve the flawless style of Mr Müller by buying this board. However, if you are an advanced rider inspired by his riding and you want to do the same stuff, this could certainly be the perfect board for you. This board will allow you to drop cliffs, take massive airs, butter over powder and slash wind-lips like no other.
Shape
The Müllair has a directional shape, it has a fair amount of setback and a wider nose than tail. This boosts the board’s performance in deeper snow. The narrower tail will make turning in powder easier, while the wider nose and setback keeps you afloat through the deepest and steepest. Take advantage of the Magne-Traction® edges to effortlessly link turns that look and feel nice whether they are at high speeds or slow and controlled. The Magne-Traction serrated edges give great edge hold all over the mountain, especially on hard pack and ice. They turn ice into powder.
Profile
The C3 performance camber profile features a mild rocker between the feet while the rest of the board is profiled like a standard camber. This profile offers an aggressive ride that provides a lot of control and response in every terrain. The mild rocker will give the board just a little bit more playfulness and float than standard camber profiles, while not compromising the positive properties of camber. Some benefits for the advanced riders are precise edge control, maximum stability for high jumps and landings and fast lines.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex of the Müllair gives the board a balanced feel. It’s hard enough to stay in control on hard charged mountain lines or bigger kickers, but still, has enough flex for advanced powder buttering.
Construction
On Mt Weird, GNU continually tests new nature and science applications to improve their board design. Eco-unreal construction incorporates these successful applications, to create snowboards which are environmentally minded, stronger, lighter and longer lasting. The Müllair is built with Unreal G3 Construction. The Core is made with Balsa, Aspen and Paulownia to create the lightest, sustainable, FCS certified core that is strong and poppy. The Tri-ax and Bi-Ax Smooth Bio Fiber Dampener ensure a smooth ride. The topsheet of the Müllair is made from Eco Sublimated Bio Beans - smooth and environmentally friendly! The Sintered Eco Sublimated Base is tough, fast and holds wax well, while the UHMW Sidewalls are environmentally friendly.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
