Product description
The favourite of many K2 freestyle athletes
The Poacher is a frequent contender on the X Games and Dew Tour podium. While it shines in the spotlight of big competitions, this park ski is also tough enough to dominate the toughest nighttime street sessions. With a carbon boost construction and a fir/aspen wood core, this ski offers tons of pop and the stability you need for the biggest gaps and hardest landings.
Riding style
All-mountain freestyle/park ski for advanced shredders. The wider Twin Tip Shape makes this ski perfect for any terrain from park to piste to backcountry, you can just ride it anywhere.
Shape
This ski comes with a Directional Twin shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Thus the ski offers you the same skiing characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose you get a little more uplift in fresh snow.
Profile
The All-Terrain Twin Rocker™ profile is ideal for any terrain. The profile comes with classic camber under the binding and an even rocker in the nose and tail. This means precision and pop for park and piste, with good float in powder.
Construction
The Double Barrel Core combines a dense fir core over the edges, for power and impact resistance, with a lighter aspen centre core for a lively, energetic feel. Carbon Boost Braid are carbon fibres woven into the patented triaxial glass for extra pop and suspension. The TwinTech Sidewall is a robust full sidewall construction. For excellent edge feel and performance, with added top layer stability.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
