    Product description

A PLAYFUL AND CREATIVE FREERIDE POWDERBOARD

The Salomon HPS Takaharu Nakai was completely designed by the legend Takaharu Nakai and shaped by Wolle Nyvelt. This board combines a tapered directional share and Powder Camber profile with a medium to soft flex. The large rocker in the nose makes this masterpiece extremely agile and smooth when you're surfing through the deepest snow in your favourite part of the backcountry.

    Riding style
A solid all-mountain/ powder board for any rider who enjoys carving turns on the slopes, surfing turns in the powder or creative riding anywhere on the mountain. With this snowboard, the good times never stop.

    Shape
The tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is slightly wider than the tail for controlled turns in any terrain. The offset of the bindings in the direction of the tail (setback) makes the nose a little longer for even more uplift in powder.

    Profile
The Powder Camber profile consists of a camber between the bindings, a large rocker area in the nose and a slightly smaller rocker in the tail. This keeps the board extremely manoeuvrable in the pow and gives it enormous lift. The camber offers you good edge hold and fast power transmission.

    Flex
The soft-medium flex lets you make easy turns and guarantees plenty of fun and a comfortable rides at all times and in all terrains, whether you're in the park, on the power or piste, or anywhere in between.

    Construction
The sintered EG Base is designed for super fast gliding on any snow, from fresh powder to soft melt. The components of the Ghost Green core have been selected and developed to optimise pop and reduce weight while at the same time utilising the sustainable properties of super light paulownia wood. ABC Wrapper is a patented process in which a bamboo veneer reduces the proportion of glass fibre and synthetic resins in the board by 40 %. The classic ABS sidewalls are no more and have been replaced by waterproof bamboo canes.

    More information

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
