Events had a comeback
2020 made us thirsty for new events. Sure, everything is possible online, but nothing beats a decent jam with the following after-party with your crew. So we made our hands dirty and put down quite a show in summer.
The Best Foot Forward Tour 2021
After the tour had to be cancelled in 2020, we came back in full swing in 2021. With more than 500 skaters from 21 countries, we celebrated skateboarding in 10 different stops all around Europe. Everybody put down incredible tricks. In the men’s final Martin Atanasov (@martin_sk8atnsv) took the win. In the women’s finals Liv Broder (@liv.broder) showed everybody how it’s done. Blue Tomato winter events 2021
The winter was supposed to get wild, with tons of events already lined up. Unfortunately, COVID had other plans. But we were still able to hold off some banger events at the start of the winter season. We dropped in with the first Big Air Event of the year in Chur where Blue Tomato team rider Matěj Švancer took home the win in the category freeski with a mind blowing Nosebutter Double Cork 1800 which got him 99.00 points from the judges. In women’s snowboarding, the amazing Anna Gasser got herself another podium in her astonishing career, with a second place at the Big Air event.
If that wasn’t enough our next event stop took us to Innsbruck. Organized by Ethan Morgen, Method Mag, Monster Energy, and many more the STRT Jam turned the city into a street snowboarding playground. Next to legends like Zeb Powell, Rene Rinnekangas, and the latest addition to the Blue Tomato team Fridtjof „Fridge“ Sæther Tischendorf, we found ourselves in a weekend full of madness, burning handrails and waaaay too many beers. What else is going on at our Blue Tomato Team?
Our team riders were not hanging low this year, put in them some heavy work, and got rewarded with podiums or iconic video parts. We are very proud to show you what they have been cooking up the past year and to show you who is new on the team.
Fresh members of the Blue Tomato Team
Fridtjof Sæther Tischendorf aka Fridge, is the latest addition to the team. Fridge and his backpack are way more than a gimmick. His creative take on spots and obstacles made Fridge one of the most exciting snowboarders in the game. Also new to the team is the incumbent Norwegian slopestyle champion Hanne Eilertsen, Best Foot Forward second Lenni Pfeiffer, and surfer Lenni Jensen.

Next to new members of our Blue Tomato team, we are happy to announce that we lengthened the contracts with Ivika Jürgenson, Henrik Harlaut, Anna Gasser & Marco Kada this year. All four put in a lot of work for their projects in 2021. Anna with her inspiring Red Bull documentary „The Spark Within“, Ivika got a clip in Vans „Oasen” video, Henrik dropped his new „WUN“ Video and Marco delivered an absolute masterpiece with his 11 minutes „Celestial“ part for Independent Trucks. With that beeing said, keep your eyes peeled for 2022.

In addition to Oslo Norway, we opened shops in Bludenz, Duesseldorf, Flensburg, Fribourg, Lappeenranta, Nuernberg, Oulu, Ravensburg, St. Gallen and Tuebingen.
