The Gleis D indoor skate park in Hanover is a project of the non-profit association for the promotion of youth culture and sport. The Gleis D Skatehalle is a matter truly dear to their heart, which is why every single obstacle was built by the hands of the club members themselves.
It is a place where skateboarders, BMXers, bladers, scooters and dirt bikers can meet to pursue their sport together.
The area between Nordstadt and Hainholz offers a spacious indoor area with ramps, as well as a still undeveloped outdoor area, which in future will offer the opportunity to skate at any time of the year. The location can be easily reached from any direction in Hanover.
All in all, a space should be created for sporting, integrative, interdisciplinary and cultural exchange for little money, in which everyone feels welcome and offers space for new creative projects.

Workshops
Every Thursday of the month the crew at Gleis D offers workshops from 6PM - 8PM. Experienced coaches will teach you the basics of skateboarding/bmx, etc. in small groups. If you are a little more experienced you can take your skills to the next level. The entire hall is reserved for the workshops at this time. All equipment is included! You can register HERE.
In addition, you can also rent the hall for events of any kind and also celebrate your birthday here on Saturdays and Sundays. On top there is a special session for kids under 6 each sunday morning.
SKATE AND DESTROY
On the 22nd of July 2023 there will be a casual skate session with a few rock bands plaing on the side. Feel free to come around and enjoy!
DIRECTIONS
Adress: Hüttenstraße 22b, 30165 Hannover
Public transport: It is only a few meters from the station “Bahnhof Hannover-Nordstadt” to the skate park. You can reach us with the city bus lines and the tram. It is only 2 walking minutes to get from the station to the entrance gate. Then just walk through to the hall.
Car: There are two ways to reach us: Via the “Bahnhof Hannover-Nordstadt” and via Philipsbornstraße. Turn into “Auf dem Dorn” and drive onto Hüttenstraße at the Lidl supermarket. The large automatic gate gives you access by pressing the black button. Please park on our property directly in front of the hall!
