The Uninvited Euro Open: Paving the Way for Street Snowboarding's Rising Stars
Join us March 14-16 2025 at Penken Park in Mayrhofen, Austria for an action-packed women’s snowboard event. Building on the success of last season's first-ever Uninvited Qualifier, which saw over 60 European, Scandinavian, and Japanese riders showcase an incredible level of talent, we’re stepping things up. This year, we’re thrilled to announce The Uninvited Euro Open, featuring a €10K prize purse! The top 3 competitors will win a coveted spot at The Uninvited Invitational finals in the USA, where they will compete for a $60,000 USD prize purse and an opportunity to showcase their skills on a global stage.

First of all, it's not only about the competition and winning. The Uninvited Euro Open is a celebration of female talent in snowboarding. It's about experiencing the collective energy and support of the snowboarding community. Bring your passion, be ready to cheer for your peers, and most importantly, enjoy every moment.
The prizes
This year, we’re thrilled to announce The Uninvited Euro Open, featuring a €10K prize purse! The top 3 competitors will win a coveted spot at The Uninvited Invitational finals in the USA, where they will compete for a $60,000 USD prize purse and an opportunity to showcase their skills on a global stage.
The weekend schedule breakdown:
- Friday, March 14 - Course inspection and practice day.
- Saturday, March 15 - Competition day and awards ceremony.
- Sunday, March 16 -Community ride day. Female identifying snowboarders of all skill levels are welcome to register.
Keep in mind that all participants will need to sign a liability waiver physically when they check in to be able to ride in the event.
The Uninvited Euro Open is presented by Union Binding Company and CAPiTA Snowboards, with support from Niedecker, Sun Bum, Pleasure Magazine and Blue Tomato.
Are boys also welcome?
While this is a women-only competition, everyone is welcome to support the riders, enjoy the show, and join the community ride. Let's make the European riders shine like they never did before!
What's the Uninvited about?
The Uninvited was spearheaded in 2017 by Jess Kimura, one of the most influential snowboarders of the past decade. After recognizing an abundance of talent without a proper platform to showcase it on, she self-produced an award-winning film trilogy that challenged the gender disparity in the action sports industry. The Uninvited series launched multiple careers for girls, women, and non-binary riders who needed a place to shine.
Harnessing the same energy and intentions that fueled those films, we have channeled them into a competition series where these riders aren't just a subcategory; they are the main event. By providing the platform and tools needed for them to thrive, our goal is to empower these athletes to rise above expectations and rewrite the narrative for generations to come. The Uninvited Invitational serves as a platform to showcase and enable the highest level of progression in a street-oriented environment.
