Product description
Modern technology combined with the original graphics and shape of the 80s
The Burton 1987 Elite has made snowboarding suitable for the masses. It was the racer par excellence and brought as many people to snowboarding as few other models. This retro-inspired model comes with the original graphics, the same shape as in the 80s. What has changed is the technology. Modern materials and the best components lift the legendary shape into the year 2024.
Riding style
On the trail of legends. The Elite is for all riders who like to ride the whole mountain and whose favourite trick is still a fat backside air.
Shape
The directional shape provides float for powder excursions, brings stability and control and plenty of pop.
Profile
The Directional Flat profile consists of a flat section from the nose to the tail. The slight rocker in the nose makes the board a bit more playful and offers uplift in powder.
Flex
The medium flex is ideal for the all-mountain design of the Elite.
Construction
The Super Fly 800G Core offers pop, stability as well as a reduced weight. Working a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of the extremely absorbent, dense material of the sintered WFO base creates an extremely durable base that stays open in every weather condition the whole season long.
The Channel® gives you ultimate control over your stance in a design that is compatible with all popular bindings (not just Burton). With Infinite Ride technology, maximum pop and strength is generated by 'over-constructing' the board and then mechanically 'breaking it in'. With Infinite Ride, the board retains its flex, pop and board feel from day one to the last, one season at a time.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
