Glandahar
Kini vo Glandahar entered its second round beginning February, after needing to cancel the event last year due to lack of snow. The event was a blast. Over 800 visitors gathered around the rail set up to widness truly mindblowing performances. Improvement was clearly visible. Great lights, lots of food stands and beverages. Overall, the vibes were unbeatable.
Riders showed off their best tricks and spins and the crowd went wild. Besides breath-taking jumping and railing, one aspect clearly prevailed: The fun and enjoyment of everyone present. Exactly the way an event should be.
Format
Glandahar is aiming for 2 goals: The first one being, that the invited riders will compete without any pressure on their shoulders. No pressure, meaning that there are no rules or judges. The riders will rank the creativity and skills of the other competitors, themselves. This format makes the Kini vo Glandahar perfect for highly skilled trick combinations on the rails. The classic jam session will last for 1.5 hours and will be finalised with the crowning of the finalists.
The second goal for Glandahar is, to make the event for everyone. Winter sport enthusiasts as well as locals, guests, kids and elderly. Everyone who wants to have a great time, enjoying various foods and drinks is welcomed. The perfect combination of niche sports event and a spot to chat.
Riders
The event is invite-only for riders. If you’re skilled at jibbing and would like to participate, feel free to send a message to the Glandahar instagram profile.
Food & Bevarges
Where there is a great vibe, amazing food and drink stands are not far away. On-site stalls and pit fires will keep you, your crew and family warm. The vibe will be set by several DJs and live commentary. Last but not least, the after-party will be in a large tent, set up right next to the location. A great opportunity to take the vibes of the competition venue onto the dance foor.
Parking & Train Access
Right above Tannerfeld you will find slots to park your car opon arrival. For he brave winter campers, there is a camping option available in Bayrischzell. Train commuters can easily access the Bayrischzell train-station (10 minute walk) with the hourly train, gong from Munich via Holzkirchen.
