Santa Cruz

All that mattered was surfing – at least for the founders of Santa Cruz. And what if the waves were too shallow? Then they simply hopped on skateboards with which they could "surf" the streets of their city. Today – more than 50 years later – the brand from California stands for authentic skate culture like no other and their eye-catching graphics are outstanding. Whether on the tarmac or in the skate park, you will shine with Santa Cruz.

Zero

The skateboard brand Zero emerged during a period when skateboarding felt somewhat rigid and conventional. Founder Jamie Thomas aimed to support the underdog, bringing back the raw and powerful essence of skateboarding. Featuring some of the most impactful skate videos to date and a fresh approach to deck graphics, Zero ascended to the top of the skate scene at the turn of the century. With a professional team that outshines most other brands, Jamie Thomas has succeeded in continually growing and evolving his vision.

No surpise, as Polar Skate's huge variety of skateboard decks not only feature striking graphics but also high-quality materials and reliable constructions.

Creature

Skateboard brands don't always have to follow the latest trends. Creature Skateboards, for example, is aimed more at the old-school skateboard crowd. Their expertise centres on pool and vert skating. The designs of the products are characterised by monsters, skulls and unusual graphics. The Creature decks are ideal for taller and heavier skaters who love a lot of surface and stability underfoot as well as the vibe of old-school skateboards.

DGK

Dirty Ghetto Kids, aka DGK, was created on the streets of Philadelphia by pro skater Stevie Williams. DGK stand out thanks to their colorful and comedic graphics – be it on decks, wheels or streetwear – aiming to bring the fun back to skateboarding. It's all about taking a step back and not taking yourself too seriously. Being on the market for more than 20 years, DGK have gained a massive following and have several successful collaborations to their name.

Globe

In the mid-1980s, the Hill brothers Stephen, Peter and Matt founded a brand that distributed third-party brands in the Australian boardsports scene. A short time later, they developed their own brand: GLOBE, starting with shoes for surfers and skaters and expanding relatively quickly into streetwear and hardgoods. Today, in addition to their shoes, GLOBE are primarily known for their high-quality complete skateboards. The same crew of boardsports enthusiasts who started the brand have grown into an international skateboarding community of riders and designers connected through boardsports, street culture, media, design and film.
