Product description
The Disaster only much better
The Disaster is the jib machine that Bataleon team riders rely on! In this version you enjoy one of the lightest, fastest and most responsive freestyle boards you can find on the market. High-end materials and a sophisticated construction make it a perfect board for all those who spend their days in the park and there preferably on the pro line.
Riding style
The Disaster+ is at home on the rails and boxes of this world. Jibbing is its motto, whether park or street.
Shape
There is only one suitable shape in the park and it is called Twin. SideKick™ tips increase edge uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail for even easier turn initiation.
Profile
The Disaster comes with a Twin 3BT™ shape with symmetrical tip and tail. Balance and stability, no matter how you jump or land. The low camber is almost a flat, but offers enough pop to get onto the rails.
Flex
The soft flex (3/10) is made for jibbing. Rails and boxes are happy to be ripped by this board.
Construction
The Light Core is made of 50 % poplar wood and 50 % paulownia, making a perfect balance between stability and weight. The Bi-Ax fibreglass is light, strong and responsive and makes the board snappy without stiffening it torsionally. The Central Tube Upgrade is a carbon tube on the underside of the core that provides even more pop. Additional carbon stringers give the board even more pop. The sintered Hyper Glide S base is durable, fast and stays that way if you take care of it.
The Hyper Glide S Base is durable, fast and requires almost no maintenance. Shock Walls™ absorb shock and provide a vibration-free ride.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
