The Jib King (14th to 15th December) has had legendary status for a couple of years now, as it is the rail/jib event at the beginning of the season. As usual the saturday was reserved for the amateurs, while on sunday the pros competed against each other on the stairset. Blue Tomato was on-site both days to witness a weekend full of excitement and action!
Amateur Division - Saturday, December 14th
With a record number of 122 participants (Grooms, Rookies and Adults), this year's Jib King was a huge success! The amateurs turned the Jib Park into a stage for impressive tricks and thrilled the audience. As part of the World Snowboard Federation's WSPL (World Sbowboard Point List) ‘Amateur Level’ category, everyone was given a fair chance to show off their skills and improve. Prices from Blue Tomato, our ‘Rent you Ride’ tent and a DJ ensured a great atmosphere and rounded off the event.
Pro Division - Sunday, December 15th
On Sunday, the PROs showed off their skills on the AbsolutPark Stair Set - an event that impressed across the board! With perfect conditions and a strong list of riders, spectacular tricks and creative runs provided the best entertainment for spectators on site and in the livestream.
The contest made history as the first ever WSPL Elite Rail event and set new standards. It offered riders the chance to show off their best tricks and collect valuable points for the WSPL. An event that will remain an unforgettable highlight!
