Over the past decade, the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato has become one of the most important up-and-coming events on the European snowboard scene. “With the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY, we present young snowboarders with a springboard into a professional sport,” explains Ästhetiker President and snowboard legend Steve Gruber. Over two days, the boys and girls can put their skills to the test in four different age groups and categories.
On the first day, Sessions and Coaching Day, free freestyle coaching sessions are offered in the program for all snowboarders interested in freestyle. They will practice jumping over obstacles or sliding their first rails. In addition, the legends from the club “die Ästhetiker” are organizing a style session in which everyone can take part. Of course, there are Blue Tomato vouchers and lots of prize money to be won.
The slopestyle competition follows on the second day, which is rated as amateur level in the international WSPL Point List. In addition to fame and glory, the winners can look forward to plenty of medals, prizes, and prize money. Whether Super Grom, Grom, Rookie, Amateur, or Pro: everyone has the chance to make a splash in the various categories. With every contest result, participants also collect points in the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Overall Ranking. For each participation there are points on the international World Snowboard Point List (WSPL) and the first three Välley Rälley Tourstops are ASA (Austrian Snowboard Association) Austriacups. Participants can also qualify for the Austrian Masters and collect points for the World Rookie Ranking.
