WHAT DO WE DO?
The Helsinki Snowboard Club offers coaching for snowboarders of all levels and ages in the area of Helsinki. It does not matter if you have never stood on a snowboard before or are currently training on your corks. Everybody is welcome here! All participants of the Helsinki Snowboard Club receive constant training throughout the year. This includes physical training to stay fit, trampoline in order to get comfortable with flips as well as wakeboarding, skateboarding and flowsurfing to get a good feeling for all different types of board sports in summer. If there is snow - we go snowboarding!
EVENTS
In the upcoming winter 2022/23 the Helsinki Snowboard Club will organize all kinds of different events throughout the season. Such include regular snowboard trainings, theory training, competitions, photoshoots and many more. For the event schedule, click here.
FOUNDERS
Janne Lipsanen - Janne is a famous finnish snowboarder who calls his home resort the Talma Glacier. Janne has been competing in all kinds of different snowboarding disciplines from slopestyle to halfpipe and has been filming multiple videoparts over the past 10 years. Janne sends it with style and will give his best to coach you epic tricks.
Peetu Piiroinen - Peetu is a finnish freestyle snowboarder who has been snowboarding since 1997. Since competing internationally in 2003 Peetu has been taking home olympic, snowboarding WM as well as national and junior medals of all types. This multi talent definitely has a couple of good tipps and tricks to share with you.
Eero Ettala - You will probably know his name even if you are not from the snowboarding industry. Eero is a Big-Air-Junkie, Slopestyle-Star und Rail-Jam-Guru. He was born 1984 in Helsinki and since then has revolutionized snowboarding in Finland. Needless to say there is no discipline Eero is not a master of. The most famous finnish snowboarder is a founding member of the club and supports wherever possible. Sign up to the Helsinki Snowboard Club and you will be able to shred and high-five with Eero!
MOVIE PROJECT
