The film consciously includes the local population by having two of the main characters come from the Andes, sharing their perspectives on the mountains.

Chris Rubens was living his absolute dream. As a freeride pro, he jetted around the globe – always on the move with large production crews, heliskiing, and chasing the big lines. On an expedition to Greenland, a climate researcher accompanies the team to alleviate their guilt of burning fossil fuels to ski there. It was during the tour of this movie that Chris decided he needed to change more than just making a movie about climate change.
