The disciplines will vary from contest to contest and cover Slopestyle, Big Air, Half Pipe and Banked Slalom. A lot of big Finish snowboard names started at Suomi Cup, such as Rene Rinnekangas and Enni Rukajärvi, and you can even find Finnish national team riders in the events.

The events will take place on the following dates:

January 18th–19th, 2025, Kasurila

February 1st–2nd, 2025, Vuokatti / Finland Rookie Fest

March 1st–2nd, 2025, Luosto

March 22nd–23rd, 2025, Sveitsi

April 3rd–6th, 2025, Ruka SM25

April 12th, 2025, Tahko SM25

RUKA SM25

Ruka SM25 is where the freestyle Finnish championships are held, and it's the main event of Suomi Cup. You can find several Finnish pro riders competing at the event. Rene Rinnekangas competed in 2016 and just a couple of years later he was known for being one of the top snowboarders worldwide - and still you can find him sometimes rocking there. Yet, it's more about the vibe than the contest itself: it's a snowboard family gathering.

TAHKO BANKED SM25

Tahko Banked 2025, also known as the banked slalom Finnish championships are held at Tahko and all age groups are welcome to participate. The event is a low-risk and fun competition and participants do not require professional skills. Tahko contains lots of happenings that weekend so you don't need to compete to get in to the mood.

FINLAND ROOKIE FEST

Finland Rookie Fest is part of the World Rookie Tour, but you can also get ranking points on Suomi Cup. It is held at Vuokatti and is a big international Slopestyle Contest. The athletes with the highest score of Finland Rookie Fest will be qualified for the World Rookie Snowboard Finals. Other prizes include gift cards for the Blue Tomato Shop and products from other top snowboard brands.
