Product description
Snowboard for the little ones, to learn the first turns
The Burton Mini Grom Snowboard is the most user-friendly board in the Burton line and makes learning turns and braking a breeze. For kids who are just starting to snowboard and parents who don't want to worry about their kids catching edge and losing the fun.
Riding style
The Burton Grom is designed for beginners and very light riders. The first runs on the slopes, or just some sliding. The Mini Grom can be combined with the Riglet system. You can pull your kids through the snow with it. Like a toboggan, only much cooler.
Shape
The Mini Grom comes with a twin shape and rides exactly the same in both directions.
Profile
The profile of the Mini Grom is convex, with high-curved edges and a flat area from nose to tail. This profile prevents catching edge and offers a fun, forgiving feel.
Flex
The soft flex is perfectly designed for the low weight of kids and supports learning the first turns.
Construction
Fly core with a classic full-length wood core reduces weight without impacting flexibility, pop and strength. Biax fibreglass offers a kids-friendly, turn-elastic soft flex and forgiving feel that's great for beginners or the park. The extruded base offers speed and strength and requires little maintenance.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
