The Burton Ruler takes your snowboarding to the next level and introduces you to higher jumps and bigger obstacles. The Burton Ruler Step On® for men offers flexible performance with the added comfort of the BOA® Coiler closure system. The boot is designed specifically for the Burton Step On® binding to deliver unprecedented quick entry/exit and unadulterated board control in an incredibly simple system. Simply turn the BOA® twist locks to fine-tune the boot, step into the binding and you're ready to go.

Outer boot
From the counter, a registered feeling with total comfort - an exclusive construction that skips the break-in phase and scores with instant comfort from day one to the last day. The tongues of all Burton boots have an inner reinforcement that completely seals the lower part of the boot, keeping your feet warm and dry. The Step On® Backstay on the back of the boot provides extra grip between the boot and binding and is specifically designed for the Step On® binding. The light rubber print transfers power directly from the boot to the binding, preventing premature fatigue. The firm and flexing 1:1 PowerUp Tongue provides increased response with great rebound and durability. The Step On® EST® outsole combines grip and traction and gives you a more direct connection to your board. Low profile, lighter and with reduced ramp angle, EST creates a lower centre of gravity and improves board feel. Thanks to ultra-strong cushioning B3 gel inserts, not a hint of cushioning is lost.

Liner
The thermo-mouldable Imprint™ 2 liner comes with 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation. Burton has found a progressive solution with 3M™. 3M™ Thinsulate™ is a unique microfibre insulation with high bulk for more warmth and less ballast. Breathable, water-repellent and robust. With the extremely flat lock-up cuff, the laces are guided over the forefoot and ankle, resulting in ultimate heel hold and making it easier to get in and out of the shoe. The fluffy man fur lining keeps your feet incredibly warm and comfortable.
 
Lacing system
The Dual Zone BOA® system lacing is guided by the newly designed coiler inside and the turntable system allows for quick, easy and effective lacing adjustment. Ropes made from natural fibres are more flexible and feel more natural - more comfortable to wear all day long. The system enables precise adjustment to the foot for maximum comfort. The BOA® twist closure also allows the boots to be loosened or tightened quickly. No rough metal wires are used for the closure, but ropes made in the USA from natural fibre. The virtually indestructible New England rope laces are the same as those used by stuntmen, firefighters and rescue teams.
