Product description
A piece of snowboard history
With the Burton Kelly Air, snowboarding was transformed forever.
Craig Kelly got everything he could out of this board and became an icon. From slalom runs to the first airs in the pipes of the day, Kelly has modified a sport and shaped generations. This model stays true to the shape and graphics of the original "Air" but Burton uses the latest materials and a construction that meets today's demands.
Riding style
Fast runs on the piste and in the backcountry, backside airs in the pipe, or the odd run in the park - the 1995 Kelly Air is an all-mountain weapon for advanced riders.
Shape
The directional shape offers you a longer nose than tail and thus a lot of stability at higher speeds and buoyancy in powder. The classic snowboard shape.
Profile
The Directional Camber profile consists of a positive camber from in front of the nose to the tail. The slight rocker in the nose makes the board a little more playful, more forgiving and offers uplift in powder.
Flex
A harder flex guarantees full control, reactivity and agility in all conditions.
Construction
The Super Fly II™ 700 g core with lighter wood on defined zones of the core offers pop, stability as well as a reduced weight. Working a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of the extremely absorbent, dense material of the sintered WFO base creates an extremely durable base that stays open in every weather condition the whole season long.
The Channel® gives you ultimate control over your stance in a design that is compatible with all popular bindings (not just Burton). With Infinite Ride technology, maximum pop and strength is generated by 'over-constructing' the board and then mechanically 'breaking it in'. With Infinite Ride, the board retains its flex, pop and board feel from day one to the last, one season at a time.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
