In the middle of the 80s everything started at family Krebernik’s local mountain “Gaberl” at Steiermark. At the age of 41, Dieter started snowboarding and straight away infected the whole family with his new passion snowboarding. Since day one the mountains and the snow were like a second home which never changed.
Today, the family is in its third generation connected through the passion of snowboarding! The age of the youngest and oldest boarder differ in 75 years, but the family loves to rock the powder or slopes together. Most important is the passion for nature and activity for both kids and adults. Of course adventures have changed, especially for the kids, but never affected the family. New adventures mean new possibilities, so the family’s snowboard skills grow more and more.
When the whole family is snowboarding, it’s obvious that every junior wants to start as soon as possible. For a great start to the sport, it is necessary to allow enough time for growth which is very important for the Krebernik family. Success comes from pleasure and patience for riding even faster than expected. Especially kids learn from each other.
Dieter Krebernik
The heart and soul of the family was the pioneer for his snowboard family. After long years of skiing he bought his first snowboard in 1985, which was the kick-off for everything. His skis were never to be touched again.
