Product description
The ideal concept of a playful powder ski
The legendary Armada ARV 116 JJ continues to write itself into the skiing history books. It comes with a poplar-ash wood core for maximum energy return and pop when shredding steep lines and tight treeruns. The balanced flex profile is ideal for surfing powder while offering enough stiffness in tip and tail to excel in tight and difficult conditions. The Smear Tech 3D base bevel in tip and tail makes for easy presses and butters.
Riding Style
A freestyle/powder ski for advanced riders. Shape, design, profile and construction have been specially tuned to deliver the best performance in powder. At the same time it is still playful enough for freestyle riding in the backcountry, no matter if high cliffs, kickers and switch landings in powder.
Shape
This ski comes with a Directional Twin shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Thus the ski offers you the same skiing characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose you get a little more uplift in the soft snow.
Profile
This ski comes with a classic Camber under the binding and a Rocker in the nose and tail. This profile is perfect for any terrain. Precision and pop for park and slope, good uplift in soft snow. The Rocker in the nose and tail also creates an additional, loose, tilt-free riding experience. Just like the shape of a spoon, Smear Tech 3-D Base technology lifts the contact points on the nose and tail off the snow to prevent catching edge and increase uplift in pow.
Flex
The stiff flex provides precise control at high speeds with high responsiveness.
Construction
The AR75 sidewall construction comes with a cap construction in tip and tail and with a sidewall under the binding. The cap construction in tip and tail reduces the swing weight, while the sidewall makes the ski more robust. The poplar/ash wood core combines lightweight wood with a denser, stiffer wood in a horizontal laminate, for an incredibly lively ride. The S7 base is robust and low maintenance and comes with a speed additive for more speed.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
