The Atomic Four AMID helmet is one of the most popular models in the new Four line - and Atomic is taking a completely new approach design in its all-mountain helmets. The unique combination of AMID technology and Holo Core provides up to 40% more impact protection than required by the industry safety standard. So you are optimally protected at all times, no matter what the terrain. Thanks to the 360º Fit System, the position and fit of the helmet on the head can be finely adjusted. In addition to an urban inspired low-profile design the Four AMID helmet has removable lining and a removable ski goggles clip which allow you to wear a beanie or ski goggles underneath the helmet. Construction
The Four Amid comes with the Atomic Multi-Directional Impact Deflector. It is a revolutionary dual density foam concept that is attached to the inside of the helmet core and can move freely in all directions. This means better protection against blows from all directions - the foam absorbs the energy of the blow and then deflects the energy away from the head through its movement. The Holo Core acts like an egg carton and offers a greater crumple zone.
