Product description
Stability from the backcountry to the piste
The Burton Cartographer is ready for anything. From hard lines in the backcountry to steep slopes - it can do it all. The directional shape offers plenty of stability, while the medium flex keeps it playful. Dualzone™ EGD™ and Triax fibreglass also offer plenty of edge hold and snap. A snowboard for all conditions.
Riding style
Fast runs on the piste and deep powder runs in the backcountry are just right for the Cartoprapher. Discover the entire resort and more.
Shape
The directional shape offers you a longer nose than tail and thus a lot of stability at higher speeds and buoyancy in powder. The classic snowboard shape.
Profile
The Directional Camber profile consists of a positive camber from in front of the nose to the tail. The slight rocker in the nose makes the board a little more playful, more forgiving and offers uplift in powder.
Flex
The medium flex is ideal for the freeride all-mountain design of the Cartoprapher.
Construction
The Super Fly 800G Core offers pop, stability as well as a reduced weight. In Dualzone™ EGD™ design, the wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edge on two continuous zones that run perpendicular to the rest of the core for consistent edge grip and durability.
The sintered base is robust and highly porous for added durability and exceptional wax absorption for improved glide.
The Channel® gives you ultimate control over your stance in a design that is compatible with all popular bindings (not just Burton).

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
