Product description
Step On® Escapade for even more comfort on the mountain
You can't get in and out of the binding any faster. One step, one click and you're ready! How does that work? With the Burton Step On® Escapade binding. This version of the Burton Step On® binding offers the perfect balance between supreme comfort and enhanced playfulness. Three connection points - two at the toes and one at the heel - provide unparalleled ease, safety and board control. The quick release lever guarantees a fast, easy exit from the binding.
Whether you prefer a firmer or softer ride, Burton has several Step On® boots to choose from, so you can find your perfect setup.
Highback
The two-piece Kickback Hammock is the suspension for your highback. Dynamic interaction between an internal spring and rubberised hammock results in increased response and reduced vibration while your heel is cradled in complete suspension. With the FLAD™ you can adjust your Forward Lean in seconds without tools.
Baseplate
Re:Flex™ offers more flex and board feel than traditional disc bindings. The reduced, cored baseplate reduces the weight and extends the damping potential. The one-piece baseplate ensures consistent responsiveness and optimal feel in any terrain. The 18 % short fibre/nylon composite blend is a little more responsive but still playful. Re:Flex™ FullBED cushioning offers a full coverage, cushioned platform that maximises comfort while minimising fatigue. It is anchored to the baseplate and its concealed trapdoor design facilitates access to the mounting hardware.
