Product description
Navigate effortlessly through powder and the backcountry
Get this early release model now and before everyone else.
The Capita Navigator guides you effortlessly through the backcountry and shows you the way when others have already turned back. For this season, The Navigator has been reworked from scratch. More robust, improved control and still playful, you will experience your days in powder. Inlaid Cork Dampeners dampen vibrations while the narrow tail sinks deep into the snow and lifts out the wide nose.
A dream of a board for deep days and long adventures outside the resort.
The Navigator is handmade in Austria in the first snowboard production facility powered by 100 % clean energy. It is a Good Wood Award and Platinum Picks winner.
Riding style
Freeriding is the Navigator's top priority. Long runs in powder and remote slopes, deep in the backcountry are exactly its thing.
Shape
With the directional shape the nose is slightly longer than the tail. The bindings and the sidecut are slightly offset to the back. This increases the stability at higher speeds and the uplift in powder.
Profile
The Resort V2 profile combines a classic camber between the bindings with a rocker in tip and tail. The rocker increases uplift in powder. The camber offers you good edge hold and fast power transmission on hard slopes.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.
Construction
Capita use a blend of paulownia and poplar for the Hover Core™. So you're ready for any terrain and any conditions. Inlaid cork dampers prevent vibrations and thus provide a better riding experience. The Holysheet™ triax-fibreglass gives you a better glass to weight ratio than regular fibreglass and is built into the Navigator with high performance, plant-based Magic Bean™ resin for powerful and dynamic performance. The sintruded Powder Drive™ base is very fast, hard and absorbs a lot of wax, while still giving you the easy-care properties of an extruded base.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
